Slow Motion Advice

[iancarleton]

Hey Internet Gang,
Just wondering if anyone has advice on how to get the best slow motion out of a DSLR. Im looking to shoot 30fps on a 5D and want to slow it down as much as possible in post.
Any info helps. Thanks!
Ian

You should check out twixtor, I've heard alot about it but haven't used it. Check out this link,

Exactly- you can only do so much with such slow frame rates to begin with. There are some specialty consumer cameras out there for better slow motion such as http://www.casio.com/products/Cameras/EXILIM_High-Speed/

otherwise you want the Phantom HD Gold- not cheap tho...
