Slow-mo & Sound

I have a question. When the audio is linked to a videoclip in Premiere Pro & when I slow down the videoclip, I notice that the audio lowers in pitch. If I slow down both the video & audio of the same clip, is there any way I can adjust the pitch of the audio like I can adjust the opacity of a video clip or the volume of an audio clip?

Can anywone tell me how to adjust an audio's pitch once it has been slowed down? Thanks in advance.

Andrew

there is pitc shifting effects str8 in premiere pro (i dont know how well it works as compared to a DAW but compared to after effects it should be fine) Also if you are using prmeiere pro you can check the option under speed control to maintain pitch when you change the speed of your audio

I have found maintain pitch in PremPro to be "unuseable". It seems to produce a metallic phase effect on a voice (even with the smallest of speed changes).

A rather late reply, but the Hollywood method for doing this is just actually recording stuff at normal speed that sounds like a slow-mo version. Like on the T2 soundtrack they talked about the actors having to be in the studio yelling in slow motion to match the video.
