slow-mo (other than Phantom)?

I'm looking for mid-range slow mo cameras - around 250-300 fps. Are there any cameras capable of that other than Phantom?

Here is what i'm coming up with:
240fps
Panasonic EVA1
Red
Sony F55 with R7

Anyone has experience filming extreme slow-mo with those?

The Mini & Amira can do 200fps in 2K, & 1080P, but believe they need special licenses. Imagine there are other models that do 200fps, but those are the two I’ve used most recently. Also there are codec limitations, but I think it’s just ProRes 4444 XQ (not sure about Raw) that’s not available.

Would you know if its center crop at 200fps?

It’s the full 2K/1080P frame without (additional) windowing. Also believe there’s a S16 window, but don’t know the FPS or resolution.

FS5 and Inferno, 2K/240fps.

Blackmagic URSA V2 does 4K/120p...not as slow as you'd like, but gorgeous in light.

(Also does 1080/150p in the cropped "window" mode...looks nice too.)

No idea what you're going to do with it or how you will use it, so I'll add the super-low-budget option: I've been shooting reasonably detailed 1080p at 240 fps on my RX100-IV since 2015. Only burst, though: continuous is 120 fps.

The EVA1 will record 2K/HD 240fps internally that is sampled from the 4/3" sensor area or output it in Uncompressed RAW in 2K that is sampled from the 4K sensor area.

The VariCam LT will record 2K/HD internally windowed pixel-for-pixel on the sensor or output it in Uncompressed RAW in 2K/HD windowed pixel-for-pixel.

Short of a Phantom, the highest quality 240fps available is the VariCam LT. It is Uncompressed RAW as opposed to other systems that compress the RAW to get up to this frame rate.

If the RAW is done right (RED/Blackmagic), it doesn't matter if it's compressed.

No one on the planet is going to notice a difference between uncompressed and 3:1, 4:1; even up to 8:1 for some applications.

When you need, you need it - and it's nice the EVA1/LT offer it - but 99% will not need it for the online delivery of a product played back on a phone.

Right now i'm leaning towards Arri Alexa Mini. At 200 fps do i have to think about any crops and such or if i put 24mm lens, i'll be getting 24mm lens POV?

What I found after years of shooting is that slow motion can be divided into four levels.

The first one is 50/60fps which works nice when people are walking and moving to give a natural slow motion effect.
Second one is around 100/120fps which gives a very nice effect on people moving. It's an effect shot.
Third jumps to 400-800fps and is good for objects and fluids falling.
Fourth level is the 1500+ fps for the super slowed down scenario.

Out of these there's no need for anything more than the second level if you film people. The third and fourth level are just for special effects filming. So to me once you reach 100/120fps and don't film food commercials and such, there's no reason using anything higher. This is my pragmatic view.

Tough to generalize what other people need but the thread is more about which cameras are available and their specs. When I shoot competitive diving I use 240 fps and would enjoy having more.

The Alexa Mini doesn't crop/window the sensor when shooting high frame rate, although it does have a "super 16" mode you can shoot in, if you want. You can shoot 200 fps "full sensor" up to 2K.
