Slow-mo on a Sony DSR-25?

For the LIFE of me, I can't figure out what combo of buttons to push on my DSR-25 to get it to play slow-mo? With other sony's, it's just push pause then play and it plays at 50% speed. Urgh!

I'm trying to do it for a HS football show that I've got coming up. It'll all be done live, so I have to do it in a VTR.
 
i know on the sony hdv1500 deck if you have the local/remote switched to either one the controls act different. It only allows frame by frame when in local mode. worth a shot.
