Do any of you Premiere Pro 2 users know if there is a way in Premiere to slow down a shot or speed it up in the middle of the action.

I want to start a shot at normal speed and in the middle of it, slow down the action, then bring it back up to regular speed.

Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks!

all i do is just right click on the clip and choose speed or whatever it is.. and make a cut to where i want it to speed up and or slow down...

That'll work just fine if you want to just cut from one speed to another. The Time Remapping comes in handy if you want to ramp up or down on the speed changes smoothly instead of abrubptly.

well i've done a a time remapping, on 2.0 but it takes looooong! dont wanna do it! use after effects or just the cut tool and right click...

well...somtimes if u want to do a particluar effect..u gotta be able to handle it if it takes "long" to render or to "do" etc... part of the edit process
