slow it down?

[New_Zealand]

I have a scene where a girl gets thrown off a cliff. A few friends thought it was a dummy that was thrown off the cliff. I figure if I slowed the scene down people will be able to noticed that the Actress was really being thrown off the cliff. The Actress did her own stunts.

I'm editing on Vegas Pro 8.0A

Thanks,

So what exactly is your question? Artistic, or technical? If it's technical, here's how to do nice slo-mo with Vegas: http://eugenia.gnomefiles.org/2009/02/09/butter-smooth-slow-motion/

I have a scene where a girl is crossing the road and a friend of mine some how speed up the shot on the time line to make the car move faster than what they were going. So what I would like to do is slow down the cliff scene in the time line without going with other softwares etc.... The scene is less than a second long already. I can move it to imovie and slow it down and than back to vegas but would rather do it in vegas. Thanks

Use a velocity envelope, or change its playback rate by right-clicking and choosing "Properties."
