Slip-on windshield for Sennheiser 416, Rycote or K-tek?

Ive owned Rycote softies, and I currently own 2 K tek softies.

I prefer the K tek. I'm only speaking for myself but I found the rycote to let in more wind from the back.
The Rycote has a stretchable rubber back which is good for getting a tighter seal. The K-Tek has just a circle of thicker fabric non stretchable.

You would think because of these differences the Rycote would win, but because the K Tek has fur all around the back right up to the hole
that might be the difference. The Rycote's fur stops at the back of the sides.

Once again this is just speaking for myself.

Here's a visual of what I mentioned.

What about Rycote Softie or K-Tek FUZZY?

Actually - neither.

The Rycote MiniScreen with it's Windjammer is better than the Softie - and it's actually cheaper as well.

These can be purchased on their own, or both are delivered as part of the Universal Camera Kit with a camera-mount shockmount and accessories. :)

Oh - and the "fur" Rycote use is very special as they fully understand the science behind wind protection and the fur is specially manufactured only for them.
