Slideshow Problem

I am doing a photo montage slideshow, just a plug for BenB, his photomontage tutorial is worth double what it is listed at. I loved his example of vignetting the pictures, so i followed his suggestion only adding my own twist and just softening the edges instead. When I did this I ran into a problem, and it only happens with 5 of the 75 pictures. once I rendered out the file I completely lost the 5 images. The RT preview showed them fine. It is on a DVCPro 1080 30P timeline. Any suggestions?

Ok, I figured out and nailed down the following truths during this project. The last one solved my problem mentioned above
  1. Aperture is one of the best programs I have ever seen or used for quickly editing a photo (basic cropping, show arrangement, and color/level adjustments)
  2. High Def Slideshows take forever to render, but in the end are totally worth the time spent.
  3. I need to upgrade my G5 to a Mac Pro soon.
  4. A 2.5TB Raid array does not make up for the G5 processor not being fast enough.
  5. DVD SP will burn a quick review copy of an 8 minute video in 20 minutes while your wife talks to the client at the front door.
  6. As long as you appear calm and professional your client will never know that the disc you walk out with is hot off the burner.
  7. When you put a 7000X5000 pixel image in FCP it will not tell you it is too big, instead it will make you pull out your hair for 2 days figuring out the problem. Also found that my brain will not necessarily process that my slow computer may not be able to handle everything I throw at it anymore, and I should have made the images smaller last week when I exported them.
