Slideshow MAKING program

Ok, so typically I've used After Effects to create slideshows, with music behind them etc. Well, I have NO time, and I need a program that will let me quickly add photos in, with music, and transitions, and output a file I can compress to a DVD. Know of any, or used any? Thanks...

Nothing fancy.

you could try downloading the demo of adobe visual communicator. i'm not sure what limitations they put on the demo.

hm. will look into it... appreciate the link man  this looks like something a little more advanced than I am looking for... you use this for slideshows though?

i don't really use it anymore, but i bought it to do presentations when i was in real estate. it's sort of like a souped up powerpoint.

Gotcha, cool, I'm DL'ing... looks like it's fully featured for 30 days... just might do the trick! Thanks.

PhotoStory is the easiest possible slideshow program.

You just select your pictures and song and it does the rest.

I've had people compliment my slide shows that I did in PhotoStory.

It's fantastic! Doing some test renders for DVD.

Then I'll work on editing the music tomorrow (10 tracks of music, for a 12 min. show, edit time!)

I assume you saw that you can customize the pans somewhat.

I always make sure the pans are somewhat appealing, instead of their completely randomized defaults.

The one time I forgot to do this, the endpoint of this particular picture was a close-up on the woman who hired me's breasts.

edit - and yes this somehow escaped me and was shown on a projector in front of 150+ people.

Another option is "Imaginate" by canopus. You can manipulate stills in virtually any fashion with heaps of transitions, add music and output the whole mess as a Microsoft DV AVI. Recommended highly by those in the KNOW...And me too:)

Yeah good question. I've been looking at a few different plug-ins and stuff too, but I can't seem to find a good one. I'd really like one for mac, so I can start outputting my slideshows to DVDs in a fast and efficient manner...even if just to show family and friends.
