Slider length

As someone who one man band shot his feature, I will say by the end of the shoot I barely used my slider anymore. I got far better results with the glide gear dolly and some pvc. More stable and easier to push the dolly and pull focus and pan and tilt at the same time. The glide gear dolly wheels are pretty forgiving, and with post stabilization it’s really simple to get rid of small dolly bumps, so you don’t have to get it perfect. Next time I think I’ll spring for some flex track.

I'm mostly "one man band" and would mount on Sachtler Ace, C100 on top.

Will the longer slider make much of a difference? Thoughts? Experiences?
For what it worth, I'm also using a Canon C100 but with a Cinevate Duzi v4, the one with the built-in flywheel. I've used to build myself a slider based on the same concept, but eventually, went and paid the price of the Duzi:
Don't regret it at all. It's not cheap, but definitively worth it.
Also, I went with the 32" instead of the smaller 24" because the carriage is like a good 4" long. All that to say, in terms of stability, this one is incredibly hard to beat:

Ok I see. You guys are mounting yours differently than I/the crews I work with do. You all seem to mount the slider directly to the sticks...we’ve been putting the slider on a tripod head just like you would put a cam on a tripod.

The usefulness of mounting a slider to a fluid head depends on the quick release. If the plate only screws in at one or two points, you will end up with quite a bit of flex. Also, any padding on the plate needs to be removed. My small 2' slider will go directly on my fluid head for a quick way to add side to side movement, but my 3' Kessler Cineslider is mounted on a bowl mount.

I’m not experienced enough with sliders to comment on that except to say that the folks I work with who use the full size Rhino mount it to a fluid head.

What device do you use between the slider and the camera when you angle the slider but need the camera to stay level? Some type of ball head? I'm using a C100 + Atomos on a Manfrotto MVH500 head.

Most sliders will accept a fluid head via a 3/8 stud on the carriage. The other way to go is via a high-hat. See the photo in my earlier post.
