Slider for use in cold weather - Edlekrone?

Hello folks!
This is about sliders, and I have read quite a bit around. But I was wondering if you could help me out with some advice.
We are soon starting filming a big documentary series for a broadcaster. It is about winter, snow and ice (no fire…) and will be filmed in the freezing part of Scandinavia. Our style of filming will involve the use of our A-camera, Sony FS7, sliders and gimbals (FS5 on gimbal). In addition we will shoot a lot of timelapses with movement.
So when I now purchase a slider I must have one that will have the functionality to make timelapse movement, can hold a Sony FS7 for regular slider action and will not shut down or be dysfunctional in cold weather.

This are the ones I have checked out:
- Edelkrone slider Pluss X Long: https://www.edelkrone.com/eu/p/138/slider-plus
- Rhino Slider EVO Pro 42: https://rhinocameragear.com/.../new-to-rhino-learn-the...
- Kessler Second shooter: http://www.kesslercrane.com/second-shooter/
- Syrp 80 cm: https://syrp.co.nz/products/magic-carpet

For the moment I am leaning towards the Edelkrone because of the formfactor that make it possible with longer runtime then real length, and the interesting possibilities with motion control for timelapse. The X-version comes with the ability to carry the Sony FS7 as well. But it is a new product and I am nervous whether it will take the cold climate. Does anyone know anything about this?

For my use, what would you recommend?

Does not anyone have any experience with the Edelkrone? There are quite a lot of hype, but I am concerned about how it really perform?
I must make an order this week in ordner to be ready for shooting in Svalbard soon. Would really appreciate if some of you could help me out with some advise.

I have the rhino slider with motion control and I must say I really like it! I used it it these days a lot for interviews, it's fast to prepare and most important thing is that it's quite, so no noise during interviews. I use it with Slider stands from Matthews and they are great.
I've used it with the Sony FS5/FS7 and both Canon C200 & C300MKII with ARC also! see picture attached from two days ago!
For some reason I can't upload picture on dvxuser so you can see picture here and video here

But, I must say I'm very intrigued by the Edelkrone Motion kit 4 axis! the only thing i'd be worried about is the fact that it's centered mounted and the risk that camera would wobble when it gets the the track end, right or left! the fact that you can't mount a stand/tripod on both edges is to be considered! I'd like to test one before buying and there is a reason why all sliders have screw mounts on both edges...
Good luck with your choice!

Thanks, videoshot for your reply. It is so good to get advice from someone who have used the equipment and not just look at specs (as myself :) ).
Is the slider ever bending when you put that much weight on it? Like the FS7. Read a user review that mentioned this problem. Do you have the Pro 42" with the carbon or stainless steel?

It is the reason why I am a bit reserved regarding the Edelkrone. If I will be sliding a FS7 weighing in on 6-7 kilo, and there are no possibility to put stands on the side, I am afraid it will fall or at least sink.
