Sleep... Who needs it.

Why sleep when you could be gaining knowledge on DVXuser. God made caffeine for a reason.

To me sleep is overrated these days. Naps are where its at. Recent studies have shown that taking a 20 minute nap is all the brain needs to FULLY refresh itself. Don't believe me, check out the website:

So for all of you sleepers out there, who aren't planning on pulling an all nighter tonight like I am, (mainly because i need to wake up at 4:30, and considering its 12:30, waking up would only be nearly impossible) keep the napping in mind, and forget about sleep, which i may add is out of style.

Most people can't function on 20-minutes. If you're in LA, go to see this free screening. I've seen it twice. Fantastic!

I.

Dang, that seems interesting. Unfortunetly I'm in San Diego, (not that that is unfortunate) and don't see any trips to L.A. in the near future. I wonder if it will be available for previewing down here sometime soon...

Yeah, I know LA isn't far, but its far enough to the fact that I'm not driving up there to watch a movie when gas is costing around $3.50 a gallon.

Hmmm. This is quite interesting. I'm actually planning on pulling an all nighter tonight, I think after I get home this evening from work I will try and take just a quick nap. Usually a quick one turns into several hours, but if the 20 minute thing works out for me, I'll let you know.

I do it almost everyday at work in my car. You are obviously tired when you wake up, but throuhgout the rest of the day after that nap, you will most likely feel more mentally awake. But then again, it may depend on the person.

Wow, this is just great. I got home today at around 2:00 (PM), took a nap around 3:00 (PM), and now I just woke up and it is 10:00 (PM). I am becoming a nocturnal creature of the night.

Yeeeah, this 20 minute nap thing doesnt work. It might for a short while, but it will catch up with you in the long run, I promise. Not sure where you found this "scientifically proven' thing, but you should get between 7-8 hours of sleep a night- no more, no less. Trust me, I've looked this stuff up. I wasn't sleeping right for over a year, and I was afraid my brain was eating itself because I was constantly groggy, but all I had to do was change my sleeping habits and everything was ok then.

I'm in no way saying that you only need 20 minutes of sleep a day to be okay. That is completly and totally obvious. I don't believe it is possible to go for even a week with only sleeping 20 minutes each day. However, a 20 minute nap will help to rejuenate some energy needed to get throughout the rest of the day, assuming you haven't been awake for 3 days straight or so.

Dude... I've been getting like 3-4 hrs max the last three weeks, people are starting to say I'm overtired... uhoh.
