Hardly ever post, cause just as I'm about to ask a question, I find that someone else has already done so, and the answers are right in front of me. But I've got one now. Based on input from here and elsewhere, I recently purchased a PVDV53 as a slave camera. Requirements: display timecode. I checked with Panasonic "help" line and they said no prob... Well, I get it fine through the camera's LCD, and on the computer. But I often like to do a paper edit just wading through the stuff kicking back on the couch before I get to the computer. And it's nice to see the timecode on the TV screen rather than jumping from screen to little LCD to writing pad. But no matter if I go to VCR Display settings in the Menu. Set for ALL display and dial in TIMECODE on C.Display. Nothing. The only thing it will display - on the big screen - is Date and Time. Any thoughts?
