Skype channel for filmmakers?

Does anyone know if there is a Skype, Teamspeak, etc for filmmakers?

It would be a fun place to meet others and talk about filmmaking.

IMO it could work if everyone is willing and available. Maybe a live podcast at a dedicated time each week, allowing live chat questions as well.
Some stations take skype calls while broadcasting and allow viewers to jump in and ask questions also.
I think it would present yourself to a broader audience also while still maintaining the skype chat scenario.
Just a thought.

//And with live podcasts, many can be auto recorded for a set amount of time, like 2 days, for others to watch and listen in if they missed the live broadcast.
Or, with Pro/Premium accounts, they can be archived for later viewing. A better idea than straight private skype calls imo.

There was something like this a few years ago. I think it was called "DVXuser Radio" maybe, though it technically was not affiliated with DVXuser. If I recall, it ended up not being community run, and people stopped listening because the host took it too much in his own direction. If it were up to me, I would ban all discussion about gear. (But then how would we know what to buy next?)
 
I am always up for this type of thing as long as we don't spend to much time always talking on gear like Drew Said. I remember when I went to one of the philip bloom workshops we spent at least half the day on silly gear questions that could be googled...and to think people payed the money for the class just to ask about the black magic camera.
