Skeptical of Magic Bullet

Guys,

I'm interested in buying Magic Bullet for it's color correction. However, most of the "after" screen caps I've seen of it appear to soften and blur the detail. Is this a serious problem with the software, or do the authors of the screen caps just not know how to do it right? Answers would be appreciated.

There does seem to be a diffusion filter on top of most of them.

you can remove the diffusion.

True. They are less diffuse.
