Site updates at Cinevate

[Dennis Wood]

Folks, if you've got a few moments, please check out our slightly overhauled site. The forum software has been updated to allow attachments and image uploading, and various components of the site have been updated, including integration of our Video University section (with navigation aids coming). There's still some graphical work to do but the nuts and bolts are all in place as of today. We're winding up a 6 week process that focussed on increased site reliability, performance, and the functional updates that were launched today. We'd appreciate any feedback, particulary if the site causes issues with a given browser or OS.

Cheers,
Dennis.

Wow. Nice work. Really liking the new design. I really would like the see some more university videos, maybe showing off the jib or follow focus?

There's 2 more coming...that we're shooting today.

1. Primer on Mattebox filter use
2. CF1le, vs CF2le, vs CF3Le

We're shooing both today. It's pretty exciting for the crew here as these are the first that we'll be shooting with 100% in-house talent. So the same guys that work in the shop are getting to apply their extensive skills to these clips

More changes on the forum were made today that now allow up to 100MB files to be uploaded directly into the posts, inline images are automatically resized (but can be viewed full size), and the video university section has just been redone to simplify browsing clips
