I thought my going away for a few weeks would give the system a strike of youth : no more three zillion word posts from the goddam frenchman.

I was wrong obviously. So maybe I'll come back more often, like in the good old times... (where is the nostalgiac smiley ? the one that cries and smiles in the same time ?)

By the way, wouldn't it be faster if we got back to the old fashioned smileys (you know : the ones we used to make ourselves on the keyboard...) Periods of inactivity will take into account your 'average posts per day' and in essence 'go backwards'. :-/

I've noticed some new users already complaining about being demoted.

I think that's the case. You used to get off "Newbie" (now "Trainee") after only three posts. Now it's considerably higher.

Im sure I joined... made a couple posts, logged out then in - went straight to bronze - logged out then in again and went back to trainee :)
