I had two simple ideas for this message board and I didn't know who to send it to (Jarred?). As background, my job and degree is computer science and I primarily do UI design.
Feature Request #1: Make a "Favorite Threads" folder in each person's private profile. When you see a thread you really like you could click "Add to my favorite threads" and it would create a private thread link in your profile so you can find it again. I find myself wanting this almost every day.
Feature Request #2: Allow each forum (such as Audio or Cafe, etc) to have a new category of threads called "Golden Threads" that are really helpful threads (as tagged by moderators) but aren't quite worthy of "sticky" honor. The audio thread is a great example. There are already 3 or so stickies and so the mods dont want to add more and yet there are some amazing threads that get buried. If the mods would tag the good threads as "Golden" I could then sort all the golden threads. There is a gold mine of info in the archives here and this feature would help bring that gold to the surface!
Please please please please please.... (homer voice)
