single frame photo retouching in FCP

Hi All

anyone know if you can retouch single frames in FCP like you would do in Photoshop? I have a clip of a hand tossing a pillow into the frame of the shot. I want the pillow flying into the shot, but I don't want the hand. It is only about 8 frames where the hand is in the clip and it's in motion so, it's blurred and would be very easy to hide if I were to export the frames individually and remove the hand in Photoshop. But is there a way to do the kind of Photoshop retouching in FCP?

thanks

No -- you can in After Effects, but I'd take those eight frames set ins and outs around 'em and export as...

File - Export - QT Compression - Image Sequence...

I think TIFF is your best option for non-compression.

Also, you'll need to drop a de-interlace from Photoshop on it once you've got it out... might change the look 'a bit.'

Good luck,
