Simulating Tropical Shoot Greenscreen/Rear Screen

Could be in a very challenging shooting situation. Client wants to create a tropical location/vibe to show their hottubs in. Talent in tub, as well as host in front of tub. There will be real tropical plants in the background.

Option 1. Shoot it greenscreen, problem being it will be hell to light, and the lighting rental will toast the budget.

Option 2. Use a simple rear screen projection system...I have never done this..can a standard projector give enough light???

Option 3. Client suggested blowing up a tropical still to put behind the hottub...(bad idea).

I am worried that this is going to look like ****, and am trying to find a simplier, yet elegant shot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....BARRY!!!!!

I take it where you are at does not offer this location? :-/ (Canada?)

Would the client consider designing the set to be some kind of a cabana or hut? (Just throwing out different options here)

That's a good idea John, I will fire it off to him.

There is so much snow where I live I can barely see my neigbors igloo...

There must be a polar bear blocking your view ;D.

Thanks Pookie for the foresight on that. ;D

I did have a revelation of maybe doing the shot as if it were night time,
with candles and torches and possibly simulate moonlight, this would resolve the background issues. Ramp up the beach at night scene...
Waves sfx...
