Hey guys,
I'm working on a little something-something that calls for a still camera POV, and the snapshot effect is very important... Basically I want to make it look like we're looking through a still camera, taking a picture of the subjects. The effect will be done with a daytime shot, so simulating a flash won't be necessary nor appropriate.
so I have a few questions:
1. Do you have any examples of well-executed still camera POV shots?
2. For freeze frames, should I change the quality/grain/color?
3. Can I avoid using AE on this one? I've done one before in Final Cut with minimal Photoshop work.
Here's a link to the specific part where I used it before (in a music video I directed in 2009)..

This was over a year ago, so I'm curious if I can do better?
