Simulate exactly +1, +2 etc. EV

Hi.
I often use color curves to improve image. But now i must push image exactly in EV, +1, +2, +3 etc. and -1 -2, like exposure compensation in cameras. How to do that? I think levels is best plugin for that, but don't know values..help?
 
Exposure values aren't constant, and chances are, whatever camera's exposure compensation you have in mind is fixed to a particular f-stop and shutter speed.

Do you want changes measured in stops of light?
 
Off the top of my head you could try a third party plugin like Magic Bullet Looks. It has a specific tool for exposure adjustments measured in stops (-16 to +16). Out of interest, what is it you are trying to achieve?
 
For research :) i want to findout how much i can push shadows with no visible degradation. I'm also thinking about filming special table with few stops from black to white, but can't find it for now.
