I have Sony Vegas 6.0 and I shot my project mostly in 24p adv; however, some of my footage I accidentally shot in 29.970 F1. I captured all my footage on vegas under NTSC dv 24p. When i put the footage shot on 29.970 onto my timeline it works just fine as well as the 24p adv footage. My question is could this lead to a problems down the road?
 
The only problem is that your 29.97 footage will be slightly less resolution than your 24p footage, as it is having the frames blended and interpolated to get to 24fps. Other than that you should be fine.
