I need to film short scenes in a room, where subjects will be sitting on a couch having a conversation, or move in a limited amount of space.
I have 3 Hedler lights: 1000w + 1250w x2. +1250w x2
I don't want a very complex and time consuming set up. I'd rather not use all 3 lights, it gets too bright and hot, and quite uncomfortable for subjects. Should I be using lust one 1000w light reflecting on a white cardboard at about 3 meters (10 feet) distance? Should I use 2 lights? I have 2 softboxes, about 1 square meter (3 feet x 3 feet). Should I use them? I'm not sure I like the quality of the light coming out of the softboxes.
