Simple Light Streak/Light Ray Question

I'm trying to reproduce this (around 6 sec mark)

at the end when the girls picture comes up and the title appears there are light streaks (or shadows only) that appear from the left to the right, about 5 lines in total. How did they do that? I messed around with all of the light ray, light beam, ect effects and could a little close but nothing good enough. Any ideas?

I would do it in "After Effects" you can do that very easily if you use Adobe.

Make the element in Illustrator then reveal in AE simple mask.
