simple DVDA-5 questions...

Ridiculous question, as I used to know how to do this!

Now then...

1. When you make a submenu, and it automatically has a 'back' link going to the previous/original menu, HOW ON EARTH do I get rid of that cheesy looking arrow image within the back link?!?

1a. How can I make a link on any page, and dictate that it goes to any other page that I choose?

2. What are some options for doing simple 'table of contents' or chapters menu subpage? In other words, my videos already have markers on them, which function only by pressing 'next' on the DVD player remote. But now I'm making an entire submenu "table of contents" page with links to those chapters on the video stream. What is the easiest/best way to link to those chapters?

Not appropriate? 3 questions about DVDA-5. The first, I actually USED to know how to do, but forgot, and now, for the life of me I can't figure out how to get rid of that STUPID arrow pic inside the back link!

Also, making a link to a chapter marker on a video stream, however it's done, should not be that difficult or unintuitive (as it apparently is, as I can't figure out a simple solution).

Right-click on your media and select "Create chapter menu."

Changing the arrow: Button Properties>Media>Frame Properties.

Regarding #3. chapter menu, I think I will just use the "insert chapter menu" thing; I've used that before, and that's what should work for current project with a little tweaking.

So now... all I need to know... HOW TO GET RID OF THAT ACCURSED ARROW PIC/IMAGE in the default back link!

Ha, I hadn't seen your answer -- thanks Dave!!!

BTW, how can I put a link in a submenu, linking it all the way back up to the original menu page? And again, I know I've done this one before, but can't remember how!

It's amazing how such simple things can cause so much misery and heartache LOL!

Thanks again.

I'm seriously getting senile. Or maybe just too old and impatient to enjoy toying and exploring and researching software... Especially if it's something I've done before, and merely forgotten how to do it LOL!

only 18 links, eh?

only 18 links, eh?

I just discovered "the hard way" that DVDA only allows 18 links per page in a widescreen project.

Ouch. So much for meeting my deadline today!

(yet it allows 36 per 'normal' ratio page? WTF?)
