Hey

My first post here, so i appologise in advance if i am asking a stupid question...

I want some software that is similar to FinalCut. I have used FinalCut at University and love the whole studio of software...

My problem is, i dont have a MAC and cant afford one either...

So what software out there is similar to FinalCut and is as easy to use?

Thanks in advance for any help

You might want to look at Adobe Premiere and the suites they have available. I have Final Cut and Premier on my mac and they both seem similar. (Granted, I am not an expert of either one).

While not like Final Cut, I would highly recommend Sony Vegas Pro if you are on a PC. I used that prior to moving to mac and it was a very easy program to learn and use.

Good Luck!

Hey

thanks for that, i will take a look at Premier from adobe. Is it any easier/harder to use than final cut, and does it have more/less features?

I cant see an awful lot about features, so a user comment would be great...

I'm probably not the best person to answer that -- I am really just a hobbyist, so I haven't done a whole lot with either one to formulate a solid opinion of one over the other.

My suggestion would be to download an evaluation from Adobe and try it out.
