Silver skin

It's makeup.

That's what I was gonna say... until I saw that he clearly said "in post".

BTW, easiest way to do this, and, IMHO, the MORE FUN way, is by using this:

Well, that was my point. This should be done with makeup, not in post. Then use post to enhance it if you like.

Thanks Dingos8mybaby. Two quick questions.

What's it called? Where can I find it in Ottawa/Toronto, Canada?

Its not something you can do cheap and easy, you need a professional for that kind of makeup job.

lol

That's not true. I was at a club once where the girls were done up like this (slightly more glittery) and one of the girls told me that they applied it themselves.

Was it like that? Or was it liquid laytex?
I wouldnt recommend anyone doing their entire body in that crap for a shoot.
Putting that stuff on is easy, taking it off... its like a whole body wax.

For the proper way, you really need someone who knows how to work with makeup, you will have to apply it many times as sweat will ruin it in only a few minutes.

To say nothing of the total apples and oranges comparison of the needs of a . . . club . . . and that of a professional film/video shoot such as this.

If I was going to do that without spending a lot on silver makeup I would cover the models skin in massage oil so it shines under lights. Then in post do a key on skin tone and desaturate to taste.
