Silver Linings Playbook.

SLP is a great movie, if only for the fact it brings to public notice the debilitatingly bi-polar disorder.
Here's some great insights from the cast, the last comments sum it all up ...

I thought the scenes with them running together neatly morphed into their dance routines, clever.

Great to see Aussie Jackie Weaver, she just played herself. And the sound of Jennifer Lawrence's voice gets me every time, magic tool.
She grew up with 2 older brothers, as a result she's very quick and that'll do it ...

I loved the film.
An interesting dynamic was happening during the screening: everyone under 30 was laughing. Everyone over 30 was crying. Everyone loved it.

One of my favorite films of the year. Between this and The Fighter, Russell is really on a roll. I love his simple unproduced aesthetic, and how it just stands back and lets the actors performance really come through.

Absolutely loved this film as well. One of my favourites of the year, for sure.
