Hi.

Just wanted to know, why there are usually three different colors for photo umbrellas? Silver, gold and white.

They each have a different effect. White usually has a much softer effect compared to silver which is more specular and will reflect more directionally (although still soft). Gold will add a warmth to the light which works really well for certain skin tones..
 
Ok, bcheong! Thanks! :beer: I think I'm going to get some of those umbrellas...so I think, I will need every color...for different situations...:)
