Silly question newbie here

I was wondering if you guys could give me some silly answers. Can you use a third party72mm zoom threaded lense with the dvx 100a? Do I have to use the century optics one? Can I use any other one and if so what are the specifications I will need? Anyhelp would be great!

The short answer is no.

The long answer is: sure you could use one, but there aren't any of any quality. There's only some horrifyingly bad ones by "Digital Optics" (aka "crystal vision" or "crystal optics" or "pro titanium" or many other names). They don't work.

The Century 1.6 is the only lens that I've ever heard of that actually works.
