I have got the one I was waiting for so long to show up and here is a sample. Let me know what you think guys.
BTW, I am aware there are other cameras out there with a higher resolution and I noticed some sort of soap opera on still photography forums. I am not interested in a higher resolution camera (for now) so please, do comment/critique my work (not my choice or tool).

That camera is 10.2 mega pixels, hardly something I WOULDN'T refer to as high res.

Looked it up and it looks like one hell of a camera. The pic (apart from being ginormous) looks really good. The detail in the hair, skin, and mask is outstanding.

The fact that you have an available ISO of 100 is awsome, and the fact that your focal length was 102 mm is even more impressive.

What was the shutter speed on that?

As to the pic, the color looks strange, although it's properly white balanced. He just seems yellowish.

That's a hell of a pic though. And whatever he's playing, I want in. I think that's like SCA, or something. Looks like mad fun.

Nice job. Very well framed and great composition.

EDIT: As to the resolution issues, never let the number make or break your decisions. Look at the things that are happening in the Nikon D50 thread, and that is 6.1, and the Rebel thread is 8. Your work will be based on your ability to get emotion across from the content, not how many pixels it happens to be.

Thank you.
It is SCA and if you like it, here is some more of the same on all three pages. (I am a big time fan of Braveheart).
Double click for full rez.
I will post soon some other pics using primes (Nikon 1.2/50) on the same camera. Makes a world of a difference. The three layers (for each pixel) was the main reason I bought it (and glad I did).

I wouldnt want to play football with that guy :) . Texture looks really good and there isnt too much detail on his skin tone which is good!

The SD10 probably is the closest that digital has actually gotten to looking like film. If they'd throw that Foveon chip into a Nikon mount SLR I'd have gotten it instead of my Fuji S2.

Same camera, same lenses, med rez (about 4M original, down to under 1M when converted to JPEG)

The album has some 10 pages... (lots of pictures and a few photos)
