Pretty good movie! I enjoyed the move from a drama / slight mystery to a slowly paced thriller. Interesting story, good twist, good acting and well paced. Something I noticed about Soderbergh's films... the score plays a MASSIVE part. It's what keeps fairly straight-forward sounding dialog scenes, tense and surprisingly interesting. Thomas Newman is a master... those ethereal hang drums somehow wrap you up in this uncomfortable tension, making you constantly wonder what's next.

The only thing that makes me itch is the look of the film (which is quite similar to his other recent projects); sort of a soft, yellow color permeates many shots and whatever shutter speed is used... seems to give off a super strong "video" look. But even though I didn't like the general aesthetic, the film itself was definitely worth seeing.
