Any of you guys has any experience in using Shure SM 57 &/or 58 mics for video purposes?
I want to try using them for recording strictly dialogs but they must not bee seen in the shot.
I will have to put them little bit further away from subject, try to minimize the background noises (I will choose location) and connect them thru the mix to the laptop.
Before I try it on location, any advice will be great.

Thanks

Not a good idea. Vocal mics need to be very close to the subject to get decent (or any) sound. You would get better results even with a cheap shotgun like the AT55.
