Shure FP33 Power Question

Question for any audio gurus out there.

Some one recently donated to me a Shure FP33, BUT w/o the original power adapter. It says 12-30 VDC at the adapter input area.

I have an adapter that seems to power it (I did a quick test) It says
INPUT-120VAC 60Hz 28VA
OUTPUT 12VAC 1.67A 20VA

I don't want to overpower the unit or damage it. What is the correct adaptor to use with this mixer? I'm not an audio guy (surprise surprise) but I'd love to get some use out of this mixer w/o having to burn thru batteries.

If you can help me, thanks,
Scott

I notice that your adapter outputs 12VAC but the mixer says it wants DC. I wouldn't expect proper performance on AC.

According to the Shure website, the proper power supply is their model PS20. Why not just order one?

But they cost upwards of $7.00. I'm not paying that much!

I'm kidding of course. Thanks for your quick response.
