So I was just offered a feature in Shreveport, Louisiana.

What's Shreveport like?

Do I want to go to Shreveport for three months?

If being offered features was a normal thing for you, I would say don't take it.

I've been there. Not all that exciting. (the people my age that I met were socially awkward and no fun)

...I'm guessing the question has more to do with the geographical location as opposed to advice on taking a job on a feature.

LOT of industry people from Dallas get sent out to Shreveport... but wouldn't you know it, I haven't been.

I'll see a few guys tomorrow that have worked numerous projects out there, so I'll see what they have to say. Although, if I remember correctly, they feel it's kind of a drag to get assigned there...

Shreveport isnt too bad. Went to college for a bit in longview TX, and we would head to shreveport on occasion because it was closer than Dallas.
