First a confession: I suck at hand holding a handycam. So I have always wanted a traditional shoulder mount cam. In my camera price range, there aren't any except for maybe the Black Magic. I'm already pretty happy with my Panny PX-270, so what to do.....of course, FrankenRig it.
A while back, I purchased a box of Redrock Micro rods and fixings and want to build a shoulder rig. As it was, the kit I purchased was set up for DSLR work, so I might need a few more bits since rigging a handycam is a whole different animal. If you have a handycam on a rod rig, I'd love to see a photo. I'd actually like to see any all rigs actually.
