show me your tattoo

Charli

cool little "title"
I'm thinking of getting a tattoo, GASP, yes, something just snapped when I moved to SoCal and I'm all rebellious in my thinking. I swore I'd never get a tattoo, now I'm researching for a good one. Show me yours, if it's in a respectful place.

i cant reach mine at the moment. It took me a while to decide to get one. I drew the idea i have like 10 years before I got it done.

If you aren't really sure about it, don't get one. It can be removed later, but it's a long and pricey road. Be sure to checkout the artist's work on skin, because sometimes you won't notice mistakes in a picture. Make sure you are getting your own packaged sterile needles. And above all, make sure that the art symbolizes something special to you.

Tc - dang, dang, dang. I'm not that extreme.

Capt. - thanks for the tip. I'm actually serious about getting a tattoo, on my abs, am researching a symbol now or may make up one on my own, don't know yet.

Anhar - yeah, henna is cool, but not quite what I'm looking for. I've played rugby, gone sailing, fenced, have written poetry, songs, wrote a sonnate, gotten into fights... in other words, I've done a lot in my life and getting a tattoo is on my list of things I want to do before I die. I also want to fly a kite. I have never flown one on my own...

Timmy - what kind of tattoo?

For Charli... :)

Nice, TC, nice . . .

How long did it take? How many sessions? At least you had the TV to watch. :)

I'll snap a pic of mine later. Or remind me on Saturday, Charli!

13 hours spread out over 3 sessions. The TV was a lifesaver, the best movies to watch were the dumb/ fun ones- like The Mask and The Addams Family, I tried putting in Boondock Saints but it didn't work too well.

I know what you mean.

Watching Boondock Saints is dangerous around any sort of power tool, since there would be a tendency to want to blind yourself to stop the torture of enduring that movie.

No, THAT would be code.
