Shoulder Pad for a Shoulder Mount Rig

I'd like something a little more permanent/professional looking. I've been trying to think of padded curved things or things that could be padded, but nothing comes to mind.

hey Logan,
I'm working on this same thing. I've got some stuff worked out in my head, but I've been busy with my monitor and fs-forever. Let me know if you come up with something, and I'll keep you informed of what I come up with.
Thanks,
Luis

Also working on this for my HVX / RR Micro35 system (I'm going to use some Razor parts for my grips).

A lot of bike shorts have padding built in (although I'm not sure how thick it is). If you used it as the external portion of the pad you'd get the professional black lycra look. Whatever is underneath it should conform to your shoulder which is the tricky part. I'm thinking of a soft kneeling pad sourced from Home Depot / Lowes.

How about a keyboard wrist pad, something like this:

how about get some plexiglass from lowes or whatever, heat it up with a heat gun or hairdryer, then put some cloth over the top and put some stuffing inside.

The soft shoulder pad is the easy part (good idea with the keyboard thing). My real problem is getting it mounted to the rails. I gotta do domething though. Hmmm
