Should there be sticky for DSLR workflow

Looking at the posts on the forum lately and there has been a lot newcomers with questions regarding DSLR editing workflow and what to do native H.264 codec that DSLRs put. I for one believe there should be a sticky note with detailed tips and tricks about handling footage from a DSLR just so we can point newcomers in the right direction. I'm not trying to be mean or not willing to help but I believe it would alleviate the situation. That's my two cents

All we work with is Canon DSLR's. There's a new version 2 of their E1 Log & Transfer plugin that doesn't need the whole folder hierarchy, only the H.264 files from the original card. Ingest as ProRes LT. Create DMG of original card for safety and backup/archive.

Yes, that was stated in the demo. Native file formats. Apple is obviously moving off the old QuickTime framework and into the OpenCL framework. Things will work very different. It will also sync your separate audio recording with your DLSR recording during import, also.
