Should I invest in the anamorphic adapter?

Hi everyone! I just got signed on to do a project for a network and they need the video in 16:9. It is quiet possible that I will be doing 1 piece per month for these people. Do you think that is a good reason to invest in the Panny anamorphic adapter?

When shooting with one of these lenses, do I just use the normal full-screen mode?
Any problems with these units?

Thanks!

Yes to full screen mode.

I had the 100A and the Panny adaptor for over two years and never had a problem with either. I sold them after I had surgery. The 16.9 adaptor, I think offered a great picture and it was a pleasure to watch on the one HD monitor I had hooked to my AVID. It also produced a great picture on the DVDs that we produced for several churches. For some of our jobs we used the squeeze of the camera but for what your talking about, the adaptor would be the best option. It takes some getting used to. Barry Green's book is a great help to get to know what to look for.

Good Luck.
