Should be simple but I can't find them..... removing the apple built in effects?

[thekreative]

How do I remove the installed effects that show up in the effect browser? I hate seeing all these things I'll never use..... ok hate is a strong word.
I'll never use most of them...night vision, fun house, 50' tv........I could go on!

I'll do you one better... Why not save what you use most into a favorites folder?

It just feels like a clean desk when there is a ton of crap in the closet! I'd love them gone.

AFAIK part of the program, don't think you can remove them.

They're all in your movies folder under Motion Templates. Just move them to another folder.

THey aren't there. Just the user installed and about 2 others. It must be in the FCP container but I don't want to mess with that.
