I have a vx2100 that Ive used my schools shotgun with many times. I just bought a rode ntg2 and for some reason when I change to manual audio controls I dont get any audio in the headphones, but If I keep it on auto settings I can hear... any ideas??
make sure you are on mic level and make sure you have phantom ON I believe auto turns the phantom On for you and on manual it stays off. I never worked with this camera but also check if you are on external mic. Also make sure when you are on Auto that it is not camera mic that is working.
