Shot on 24 frames, shows up as 29.97

I shot a film, all on 24p with the DVX, and while more of the footage brought into FCP shows up as 23.98 frames, a few scenes won't be imported that way and remain at 29.97

So the footage has to be rendered out and when i play it down, I can see some horizontal lines on moving objects.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

whenever i use the "capture now" feature it does this to my footage. Did you put in and out points for these clips or did u use capture now?

Unless you record 24pA, you'll get a 24p effect in 29.97. Only with 24pA footage can FCP do the pulldown removal on capture.

If you have to render, your Sequence settings are not right, simple as that. Double check everything.

It's definitely possible that I shot most of the film in 24PA and accidentally shot a few scenes in 24P.

Can I do anything to convert the footage so I can include it on the same timeline as the rest and have it look as clear?

I used Cinema Tools to change the frame rates, but they all play back with lines.

The clips below are running at 29.97. Every forth and fifth frame has distortion. The top photo is normal, and the one below is screwed:

I can import the footage and play it fine on a 29.97 timeline, but I need to cut the clips in with the rest of the project.
I'm not sure what else to do.
