Hey all, hoping someone can help me out. I shot 30p, looks great. Digitized and edited, all fine. Output to video, fine. But when I redigitize to make a DVD, it looks terrible- you can see noise (keystoning type or interlace prob) especially where there are straight lines.
I redid everything, and it actually looked great once, no problems. But when I went back to make some changes in the edit and re exported to burn a DVD, again same problem. What happened? I didn't change anything and can't figure out where I'm loosing resolution.
Could it be a 29.97 timebase problem with 30p? I'm at a loss. I'm using FCP version 3. Any ideas/help appreciated. Thanks.
