shot 24pa should sequence settings be progressive

I shot 24pa and imported the footage. Should I set my timeline settings under advance to progressive while I edit or is this something I do just before I export?
Also should the timeline audio settings be 16 bit integer or something else.

Also is there any advantage to exporting my final sequence in uncompressed 10 bit?
