Short XLR cable

[BrenMyster]

I just got a camera mic but could only get a 6m XLR cable from shop i brought it from, I know you can get the real short ones, the long will be fine for some boom action but does anyone know what the shortest XLR cable you can get.

I have tried looking on ebay but unless i know the exact length the search just brings up long ones.

get a soldering gun and some wire snips and shorten it! The job is fairly easy...

For on-camera use a 1-1.5 ft is usually good.

..... does anyone know what the shortest XLR cable you can get?

Rycote do a nice little 450cm XLR cable - flexible and minimises the transmission of handling noise.
