Short screenplay up for production

I read bits and pieces 'cause I don't have a lot of time right now.

From what I read, the dialogue seemed to move along nicely, although some of it became a little predictable at points.

I see you mentioned it was intended as a short but with so much written already (about 60 pages with Courier 12pt), I'd advise just going ahead and making it into a full length script. Which would be about 20 more pages.

I think it's a good start but I don't know if it would be ready for production. Put some more time into it, just thinking about all the possibilities of the characters and see where it takes you (or them).

The first screenplay I ever started to write (2 yrs ago) was a story with a similar premise. A young man who decides to stand up for himself instead of be pushed around by his shrew girlfriend. And mine started out very similar to this. Very bare descriptions with a lot of dialogue. I'd recommend to balance out the amount of things the characters actually DO versus what they say. (The old rule: Show not tell). Mine was around 60 pages at first too and I added more characters and situations and started to beef it up over time, meanwhile rewriting and rewriting all of the dialogue and actions.

That started 2 years ago and I'm still working on it at 120 pages right now. And now, when I read older versions of it I cringe at some of my dialogue. (Not to say that yours would be the same way, this was just my experience.) If you let it roll around in your mind for a while bigger, better ideas will come.

Hope this helps.
