There's been a lot of threads about people wanting a shorter cable than the one provided by Panasonic. I've been scouring the web for one myself but have finally found a (local) shop that carries the D4 connector and I'll be making myself a proper cable for connecting my HVX to my Marshall monitor (BNC) and one for connecting directly to an AJA HD10AVA converter. I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a cable?
It will not be as cheap as the ones you can find on eBay (D4->Phono) because I can't mass produce these like a Chinese factory. I expect the price to be around $60 for the cable (and that's not even making me any money) and it will be D4->BNC (female) and approx 12" long (long enough?). Add shipping to that and you'll have yourself a nice cable and finally be rid of the cable-mess
I'm also wondering about making a breakout box of sorts. Any interest in that?
