I thought it was really good. Well shot, and not as conventional as I expected. Good job Steve Martin!

I really dug it even though it was a bit pretentious in parts--especially the over use of the swelling score. Steve Martin was great in it and I wish he would do more serious films like this (he was great in The Spanish Prisoner as well) instead of The Pink Panther and Cheaper by the Dozen 2.

Oh, he is fantastic in "the spanish prisoner", and not too many people have seen that flick. Very underrated, and its David Mamet. Agree, martin should do more dramatic work. And for people that enjoy Mamet's work, the constant twists and sometimes ridiculous turns, "the spanish prisoner", won't disappoint!

jason schwartzman can do no wrong!

although some of the comedic scenes in this movie were too broad (him having sex with the girl who thought he was steve martin's character).

so i guess he can do wrong.

never mind
